BIO

Born in Sabadell, titled Superior Professor of Music by the Barcelona Conservatory of Music, specializing in Percussion, he began his musical training at the Sabadell Professional Conservatory of Music, where he also studied piano. He also has a degree in Psychology from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, also doing a master's degree in Child-Adolescent Psychopathology.

As an instrumentalist, he has participated and regularly collaborates in various formations of different styles, ranging from modern, chamber, band and symphonic music, to concert music by cobla, also participating in recordings. As for the cobla formation in which he has ended up specializing, his career includes collaboration in numerous concerts and recordings, with formations such as the Cobla Sant Jordi-Ciudad de Barcelona, the Cobla Principal de la Bisbal, the Llobregat, the Millenary of Perpignan, the Mediterranean, the Ciutat de Girona Cobla, and the Catalan Symphonic Cobla, among others.

He currently combines concert activity with teaching at the Sant Andreu Mestre Pich Santasusana School of Music, where he teaches percussion and instrumental ensemble, and is also a teacher and researcher at the Department of Clinical and Health Psychology of the Autonomous University of Barcelona since the year 2000. In the last promotions, he also teaches in the Master of Sports Psychology that is carried out in collaboration with the INEFC.

In recent years, he has promoted End-of-Degree research projects in the field of Music Therapy.
